European LNG prices keep setting new records daily during high volatility. Hjortlund Trading is an active market participant in LNG derivatives traded on multiple exchanges around the world.
Traditionally we do not take delivery of the traded LNG, but given the new European energy reality, to do this has become an opportunity, as well as a privilege.
Advantages of the partnership

Process
- Purchase
- RFQ (Request For Quote) is provided to you and accepted
- Purchase order is sent by you and accepted by us
- Money is wired to an escrow account (NL or DE Tier 1 bank or trade insurer)
- Shipment (In transit for ~20-25 days)
- ~5 days before the arrival at the EU POE (port of entry), an est. delivery date is arranged
- Delivery
- Truck arrives at your address with a tank container
- LNG is either transferred to an on-premise container or short-term leased (until empty)
- When the delivery has been accepted, money from escrow is released
